A native of Alabama, married to wife Luverne almost 30 years; 2 children Eunice and
Michele; Preacher for the Church of Christ Westside in Pensacola, Florida for over 16
years.
Brother Shepherd's preaching has taken him to many places including the states of
Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri,
North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
Brother Shepherd's education includes: Carver State College, now Bishop State University
in Mobile, Alabama; International Bible College, now Heritage University in Florence,
Alabama; and Northwest Florida School of Biblical Studies in Pensacola, Florida.
We have had the privilege to hear Brother Shepherd speak at Polishing the Pulpit in
Sevierville, Tennessee the past two years. Traveling to Rockford, Illinois, we heard him
conducting a Gospel Meeting for the Saints there.
He is a dynamic speaker whose love for the Gospel and King Jesus the Christ are very
evident when he speaks. It was our distinguished honor to bring him here to Brookfield
for our first Open House.
